Green Recognition
We are proud to announce that we have been recognized as a
Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Business by the City of Vineland and
the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce in partnership with
Sustainable Jersey and Citizens United to Protect the Maurice River.

Below are three key areas we've been most focused on.
Purchasing Practices
Whenever possible, we opt to purchase from local growers and vendors. This may be inherently environmentally and economically sustainable, but we take it a step further with our seed-to-fork sustainability initiative

The bulk of our purchases come from large national growers. We have a direct-ship relationship with the industry's best, forward-thinking growers whom have made strides in their sustainable efforts. These include
Taylor Farms,
Mann's,
Sunkist,
Driscoll's, and others who are focused on good stewardship, water management, reduced fuel consumption, and waste reduction. (Please click on the names for specific measures taken.)
Energy Conservation
Having recently renovated an old building, particular attention was paid to energy conservation. Our cooler wall was built with insulation with a very high R-value, EnergyStar cooling units were put in place, our LED lights and doors use motion sensors.
Fuel Consumption
Naturally, we're very conscious of our fuel consumption and are always looking for ways to be more efficient. A couple years ago, we upgraded our fleet management and routing software that assists us. One of the biggest improvements has been the impact of unattended or key-drop deliveries
