Turn UP The Heat for Education and Participate (TK-5)
February kicks off WCEF's drive to reach 100% participation and reach our $1.2 million goal. Turn UP The Heat is the time to show your appreciation and love for our Art, Math, Music, Science and PE teachers - salaries funded by gifts to WCEF. Your support makes possible essential STEAM programs for all students that state funds do not cover. Our students need your donations so they can continue to tinker, paint, create, play, and succeed.

The ABCs of Turn UP The Heat:
What : Donate to WCEF to keep STEAM alive in our schools.
When : On February 20 look for a RED envelope sent home with your child, and return the envelope February 21-22.
Why : California might have the US's third-largest economy, but public-school funding ranks 41st in the nation.
Bonus : The school with the highest increase in participation wins a popsicle party!

Help us show all of our specialists in Art, Music, Science and PE that we truly appreciate the gift of education they bring to our students (your child/children) every week!

'Twas a stormy night and the city was eating pizza
A very special thank you to Extreme Pizza for the WCEF supported dine-out last Wednesday. The community supported WCEF and our favorite family owned pizza joint in droves. We appreciate your patience as your pizzas we hand delivered during the storm (some by the owner himself!). Thank you, Extreme Pizza!!!!
