Dear Parents,

It is good to begin the academic year with a strong partnership and I thank you for your participation in our Back-to-School Nights. We are all working toward the same goal. To give your children the best education and skills they need for the future and instilling in them strong moral values so they can become true Disciples of Jesus.  Your continued support is a blessing to me.

We are off to a great start planning activities and events for everyone to enjoy.  The Family Movie Night was a big hit! We had so many families come out and spend time building community and friendships. Thank you to all who helped make the event possible and who were able to come support our school!

Quote from Pope Francis:

"Let us ask for a faith that allows us to have trust in God no matter what the circumstances of life."

We are asked to put our trust in the Lord for He guides us through whatever may come our way. We need to have faith and trust that the Lord our God knows what we can handle. Through happy, sad, or difficult times we are asked to turn to God and trust in Him. God will provide in His time what is best for us.

Faithfully Yours,

Miss Giaquinto

A Few Important Notes:
  • Morning Drop Off: It is highly recommended that you drop off your child in the car line at the sidewalk. If you choose to park your car, then you MUST walk across to the family center sidewalk and follow the path to the school building.  Please DO NOT cross in  front of the car line. This is a safety issue. For the safety of our children and parents I ask that you adhere to the rules. Thank you.
  • Please be very attentive and careful when driving in/out of the parking lot. Drive SLOW! Please do not park on the curb side of the church building at any time. Our buses are having a hard time making the turn into the entrance when cars are parked there.  Thank you for your cooperation.
  • During the construction happening in the Church, there will be areas of caution marked off in the parking lot. Please DO NOT cross through these areas where the yellow caution tape is located. This is for your safety.  Thank you.

Box Tops for Education

We will be continuing the Box Tops for Education program. This program is easy to take part in and helps to benefit our school children.

All you need to do is f ind Box Tops on various  products, cut the B ox Tops  from each package and s end the Box Tops to school in a  baggie. There is also a drop box in the school lobby for your convenience.

Box Tops are each worth 10ยข each  for our school. We receive two checks a year and the funds are used for the students needs.  Our Box Tops Coordinator, Barbara Wells, will collect all the Box Tops and send them in so our school can get cash.

Friday, October 26th

Our Annual SCSS Walk-a-thon will take place on Friday, October 26th from
12:30 pm to 2:00 pm on the school grounds.

This event is our most successful fall fundraiser. The money raised in the past has gone towards, gym equipment, classroom resources, Buddy Benches, playground upgrades, a storage shed, and even air conditioners for all the classrooms!
