BUFFALO BILL NEEDS YOUR HELP!
Please keep sending in new or gently used toys and other items for the Buffalo Buck Store! It doesn't take long for the shelves to get bare and Buffalo Bucks are a wonderful, positive reward that the students enjoy receiving. The students get so excited to purchase items when the store is full of fun things!

Thank you very much to all of those who have sent in items, and a big thank you to those who donate on a regular basis!
SUMMER READING UPDATE
Our hallways and classrooms are overflowing with beautiful and creative summer reading projects!

Wednesday, September 19  will be the final day to bring in reading projects to receive credit and earn a ticket to the Summer Reading Reward Celebration! Those students with unfinished books and projects will still be required to complete their work. If you have any questions, please contact your child's Reading teacher.
LITTLE CREEK WISHING TREE
Little Creek has a Wishing Tree on the wall outside the Little Creek Office where teachers have suggested items for their classrooms! If you choose an apple from the Wishing Tree, please place your full name on the back and leave it with Meg McClary along with a check (made payable to RCS) for the amount on the item listed on the apple. If you have any questions, please let Meg or your child's classroom teachers know. Families are welcome to team up on a larger gifts! Some of the items include sitting spots, books on CD, toddler steps for the changing table, wooden number counters, and more! Thank you from the Little Creek Family to yours!
8TH GRADE TRANSITION
We ask that parents of current 8th graders please keep in mind that prospective secondary schools usually require testing. Often times a school will accept psycho-educational testing completed by a psychologist, while other schools require other placement tests such at the SSAT, Catholic Placement tests, etc. It's important that you contact the prospective schools to find out which tests they require.

Standardized educational testing will be completed by Debbie Cohee-Wright, Radcliffe's Special Education Learning Specialist. If you have already had standardized testing completed recently by a private psychologist and your eighth grader does not need further testing, please notify Debbie Cohee-Wright as soon as possible. Otherwise, you will be notified when your child is scheduled to be tested.

For more information or questions, please contact Debbie Cohee-Wright or visit the transition page on our website.
