FALL GROW GROUPS ARE UNDERWAY
IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO JOIN A GROUP!

Registration for our fall Grow Groups is underway! Groups have just kicked off this week, so we encourage you to sign up soon. We have tons of great groups that meet at different times and locations, so no matter your schedule, there's a group for you. You can check out the fall catalog and register online at vrbc.net/grow. 

I'M NEW . . . WHAT 'S A GROW GROUP?
A Grow Group is a group of 10 to 20 people who meet together each week to grow to be more like Jesus, and it's definitely THE BEST way to get connected at VRBC.  In your group, you'll have the opportunity to meet some new friends, dig into God's word, and have some fun along the way! If you need more convincing, check out the latest Grow Group commercial here. 
 
REMINDER:  Even if you are planning on staying in the same Grow Group, you must register for the fall session. For more information, go to vrbc.net/grow.
FOLLOW JESUS IN BAPTISM
SUNDAY | SEPTEMBER 16 | 9:30 AND 11:00 AM
 
On Sunday, September 16, we will celebrate baptism in both of our morning worship services, and we would love for you to be a part of it! If you are a follower of Jesus but have never been baptized, this is a great opportunity to take that step. If God has been nudging you to be baptized, we'd love to visit with you about it! CALLING ALL PRAYER WARRIORS!
TOMORROW | SEPTEMBER 13 | 6:30 TO 7:00 AM
 
In an effort to better prepare our hearts and minds for what God has been calling us to do in our community through the "EveryONE" initiative, VRBC will host a brief prayer gathering several times over the next few months. These focused gatherings will consist of Scripture reading, prayer, and reflection about our mission of inviting "everyone" who is not connected to Christ or a local church. We know that prayer is our most powerful tool, so please make plans to join us for these gatherings! Our first prayer gathering will be held TOMORROW, Thursday, September 13, at 6:30 am in the VRBC Worship Center.
 
Additional prayer gatherings will be held October 4, November 1, and December 6 from 6:30 to 7:00 am in the Worship Center at VRBC. Mark your calendars now!

LET'S FINISH THE FISCAL YEAR STRONG!
 
Thank you so much for your faithful giving to Valley Ranch Baptist Church. The fiscal year end for VRBC is quickly approaching on September 30 and we have met $2,970,273 of the $3,143,000 budget. Your generosity has allowed VRBC ministries to remain strong throughout the year and to grow in furthering the kingdom of God. Please join us in finishing this year strong and beginning an exciting new year fully equipped to accomplish what God is calling us to do. We are grateful for you!

CHILDREN'S CHOIRS BEGIN TONIGHT
WEDNESDAY | SEPTEMBER 12 | 6:00 TO 7:00 PM

Children's Choirs will begin TONIGHT Wednesday, September 12, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.  If you haven't yet had a chance to register, please come tonight and we'll get you taken care of.

JOYFUL NOISE CHOIR
Kids who are 4 years old (by September 1, 2018) through kindergarten are invited to learn how to worship God, have fun with friends, and explore music in creative ways.

COOL CHOIR CLUB
Kids in first through fifth grade will have fun learning to worship God through music, learning more about Jesus, and sharing His love with others. This choir will have several performances during the school year, highlighted with a spring musical. Work on the musical will begin in the fall.

PARENT CHILD DEDICATION
SUNDAY | SEPTEMBER 23 |  R EGISTRATION OPEN NOW

At VRBC, we believe children are a gift from God, and Parent Child Dedication provides an opportunity to express publicly the desire to lead and spiritually nurture our children, in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, so that our children will develop a desire to love God and love others.
