With the continued federal government shutdown resulting in the inability to retrieve federal Tax Transcripts, CalHFA and its servicer, Lakeview, have the following guidance for our lenders.

For CalHFA compliance loan submissions: Upload borrower's 1040 tax returns in MAS in lieu of their federal Tax Transcripts. For questions, email [email protected] or [email protected]

For CalHFA first loans purchased by Lakeview: Follow Lakeview Announcement C2019-01 first mortgage purchase guidance regarding the temporary suspension of the federal Tax Transcripts document requirement.
