We are pleased to announce that Jon Nahas, Assistant Principal Assessor, was appointed to Principal Assessor on November 12th. Jon has been a wonderful addition to our team, and this is a well-deserved promotion. We also welcome Stephen Parker to the Town Planner position. Steve joins us with 20+ years' experience in municipal planning and private development. He is serving part-time currently and will assume his post full-time just after the New Year. Jessica Bardi, interim Town Planner, is wrapping up her time with us; and we thank her so much for her wonderful work in the position. Finally, Richard Stevens, temporary Building Commissioner, has accepted the permanent position of Building Commissioner with the Town of Truro. Rich provided invaluable service to the Building Department while we conducted our search for the position. Prior to that he served as Building Commissioner/ Inspector for many communities, including Truro where he served as an on-call Building Inspector for many years.
