HB 1091 Info Session
During the 2018 session, the Florida Legislature passed House Bill (HB) 1091. The goal of HB 1091 is to increase quality and accountability for those providers serving students with School Readiness. The law will require all schools with a School Readiness contract to receive a program assessment. CLASS™ known as Classroom Assessment Scoring System is an observational tool and the tool that has been chosen to assess all the programs in the state of Florida. Although the law doesn't go in effect until July 2019, it is important that schools get ready now. Click below to RSVP.

Head Start: Promoting Empathy, Understanding Trauma
The two part webinar is designed to help you understand the impact of trauma on children's behavior, their social and emotional well-being, and the health and wellness of adults in the child's life. Trainers will define trauma, describe its signs and symptoms in young children, and identify strategies to promote resilience in children and the adults who care for them. Teachers will discover tools to manage how they react to children whose behavior they find difficult. A certificate will be provided to those who attend both days of the training.
