Participation
CHONe encourages all students to take part in the Network Meeting. CHONe will cover costs - travel, accommodations and food for participating students. Students who have these costs covered will be expected to do a poster of their research and/or present a summary of the overall CHONe project (e.g.: Project 1.1.1 - MPA Optimization) they represent during the “Project Presentations” portion of the meeting.
Poster Information
Poster size: No larger than 45" x 45"/114 cm X 114 cm
Poster set-up: Wednesday, Nov. 28 (evening) / Thursday, Nov. 29 (morning)
Poster session: Thursday, Nov. 29 (evening)
Project Presentations (Updated)
Updated: 15 minute (maximum) presentations on each of the 20 CHONe projects. (Note these presentations will focus on the whole project and not sub-components). The Principal Investigator for each project will select a student designate for this role. The CHONe Admin. Office will co-ordinate with the Principal Investigators to finalize the project representatives in a timely manner.
Refer to the corresponding e-mail for more information and to view the presentation template.
Please let the CHONe Admin. Office know if you have been selected to deliver the presentation for your overall CHONe project (e.g.: 1.1.1 MPA Optimization) if you haven’t done so already.
Student Accommodations
Shared student accommodations (two students per room) will be available at the Delta Ottawa City Centre. Please indicate your anticipated arrival and departure dates on the registration form (e.g.: Dec. 1 or Dec. 3); this departure date will vary depending on whether you applied to attend the Spatial Analysis Workshop. CHONe will book and match students for these shared accommodations; however, please indicate if there are any students who you wish to be matched with. CHONe will do its best to keep these considerations in mind when assigning students to rooms. CHONe must confirm these accommodations by October 26, 2018.
Registration Deadline: October 26, 2018
