Spiritual Gifts

Beginning this Sunday, October 14, we are offering a short-term, three-week class on our Spiritual Gifts. These classes will correspond with Pastor Natalie’s sermons.

If you have heard about Spiritual Gifts and wondered what it was all about: this is your chance to find out! Led by Pastor Natalie and Barb Combs.

We need you to help this be a success for our children and the community. Save the date, Saturday, October 27, 5-7pm.

Sign-up sheets to help are in the hallway.

United Methodist Men Fundraiser Wednesday Night Supper October 24: They’ll serve grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, cole slaw and other picnic food. They are raising money for building supplies for upcoming projects.

Ladies Eat Out Connection

Hey ladies! What is your most fun day of each month about your church life? I’m hoping a lot of you say the 3 ^rd Thursday, which is the day LEO (Ladies Eat Out) gathers for fun, fellowship, and food! We have such a good time each month, laughing and simply hanging out together.

Come and join in on the fun. We will be going to the Knife and Stone Restaurant, 30 Perry St. in Newnan, on Oct 18, at 11:30 a.m. Mark it down on your calendars and mosey on over to Newnan on Oct 18. Help wanted!

The Cancer Support Group of East Coweta meets here at SUMC every fourth Tuesday at 2pm. This group is for anyone in the community who has had cancer, has been a caretaker, or has interest in helping others. This should be a part of our outreach through the Health and Wellness team as a community support group.

We are in need of a fresh start and a new leader . Ivie Bowman has led this group for almost 10 years and is looking to pass its leadership because of her on-going health challenges.
