BEYOND OPENS AND CLICKS: MAINTAINING A HEALTHY EMAIL LIST AND RE-ENGAGING YOUR COMMUNITY
Nonprofit Marketing Guide.com
September 20, 1 p.m. (Eastern)
$99

Inbox providers like Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo are constantly tweaking the algorithms that decide if and when the emails your nonprofit sends will get delivered - or if they are labeled as spam. Understanding the new rules of email deliverability is essential to meeting your fundraising, advocacy, awareness and education goals.

These new email rules are all about engagement. Inbox providers are tracking not just opens and clicks, but how often someone deletes email from your nonprofit without reading it and how often that person replies to or forwards your nonprofit's emails. They know when people are hitting the spam button on your emails and when they are rescuing them from the spam folder. This webinar will not only explain these changes, but more importantly, tell you exactly what you need to do to run an effective email marketing and/or fundraising program today.
BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH FAMILY FOUNDATIONS
Grantspace
September 21, 1 p.m. (Eastern)
Free

Family foundations can be an outstanding resource for organizations, both as a funder and as a partner. However, it's not uncommon for nonprofits to run up against the phrase "contributes only to pre-selected organizations" in their research. How do charities successfully navigate around roadblocks like these and get on the radar of family foundations?

In this webinar, discover philanthropy from the viewpoint of funders themselves. Gain a new understanding of what foundations are looking for in the nonprofits they work with, and what it truly means to build and steward a meaningful relationship with a funder. The guests will offer insights on the inner workings of the application process, and what happens after the grant is awarded, as a foundation and its nonprofit grantee work together over time to generate social change.
