Hour of Code is a global movement introducing students worldwide to computer science. Anybody can learn code and this event gives students the opportunity to experience coding through prepared activities that leave students feeling empowered.
Hour of Code was held during the week of December 3-7. Students logged onto code.org and selected age appropriate activities that featured Minecraft, Star Wars, Frozen, Angry Birds, and Plants vs. Zombies.
Students across the district were actively engaged and excited to participate.
