We have another new mural for the public art program popping up at the Sheridan Station red line by San Francisco artist
FNNCH and c
urated in partnership with Chicago Truborn. This will be the artist's first mural of his work in Chicago, but he exhibits all over the world. He is a stencil artist known for his whimsical character(s) and subject matter and bold use of color and juxtaposition.
He is painting now until this weekend and we encourage everyone to stop by
PR Italian Bistro to enjoy their patio while in the neighborhood!

Rocky Albazi
Rocky, the owner of
Sheffield's Beer & Wine Garden (3258 N Sheffield), is this newsletter's Member Spotlight! Rocky opened up Sheffield's 25 years ago hoping to make it a staple in the neighborhood for BBQ, and he did not disappoint! With some of the best brisket and pulled pork in town, Sheffield's has been a go-to for a long time. Not only does Rocky know a thing or two about BBQ, but he's one of the most passionate people when it comes to beer and wine. Sheffield's offers an extensive rotating list of craft beers and wines sure to satisfy anyone and everyone's palates.
He's so passionate about craft brews that he co-founded Beerpod, a weekly beer podcast filmed in Sheffield's. Beerpod focuses on the ins and outs of craft beer and talking to experts. You can listen to the podcast
here. You can also keep up to date with all things Sheffield's on their Youtube channel,
Sheffield's TV.
Lately, Rocky has been focusing on the opening of his new restaurant and bar,
Tricycle (1700 N. Damen Ave.). He's hoping that this new bar will be a community spot where neighbors go in between work and home. The menu is American and Asian fusion and offers some great beer, wine, and cocktail choices. Stop by if you're ever in the Bucktown area!
Somehow Rocky has time to run two great restaurants, a podcast, and still be an architect by day! Make sure to say your congrats to Rocky if you see him or visit Sheffield's or Tricycle. Thank you Rocky for making Lakeview East proud!
If you are interested in being featured in a future Member Spotlight, please email [email protected].
