Join us for hamburgers and hot dogs catered by Hy-Vee, and free Kona Ice! There will also be games for the kids. Invite a friend and be our guest!

Faith Talk and Fellowship Time this Sunday at 9:30 AM.

Join us every Sunday at 9:30 for Faith Talk and Fellowship Time. We'll have breakfast and fellowship time in the commons area with donuts and coffee.

Confirmation

Confirmation begins TONIGHT at 5:30 PM. The 7th and 8th graders will enjoy a meal and faith growing Confirmation class with Pastor James and Brent Janzen, our Director of Youth Ministry. Our 8th graders may profess and confirm their faith during worship after the completion of the Confirmation course. If you have any questions, please email Pastor James at [email protected] .

Theology on Tap

Drink a little deeper from the theological tradition of the Christian church and learn more about Christian doctrine by joining us for Theology on Tap. We will be meeting TOMORROW Thursday, September 13, 6:30 - 8:15 PM at Wendy Ringler's home. This will be the first of two sessions on the interpretations of evil, the devil, and the demonic in Christian thought. Bring a hors d'oeuvre to share. Volunteers Wanted

We are looking for a volunteer with a pickup truck, 'stow & go' mini-van, or SUV to put our Living Grace a-frame and flag signs out around Millard West on Friday evening and return them to the Mission Center on Sunday afternoon/evening. You must also be able to lift about 40 pounds. The commitment is one weekend every other month. The sign ministry is a major way we get the word out about Living Grace into the community and is responsible for the majority of our new visitors. Grace Place Happenings

Our new lesson series is called Mountain Top Faith. This Sunday in Grace Place, we will read out of Matthew 5:1-5 (The Beatitudes) . We will be starting in worship this Sunday. Can't wait to see everyone!

Pastor's Sunday Night Bible Study

If you would like to connect with some great people of Living Grace and grow in your faith, sign up for the Pastor's small group Bible study today. We will study and discuss passages related to the current sermon series in Sunday morning worship.

This group will begin meeting on Sunday, September 23, 6:30-8:00 PM. We will meet twice a month on Sunday nights through May.

Women's Book Club

Join our monthly book club! We will meet Tuesday, September 25, 7-8:30 p.m. to discuss "The Turquoise Table: Finding Community and Connection in Your Own Front Yard" by Kristin Schell. We will meet at Panera Bread on 129th and Center. This is an easy read and we hope you will join us! You can purchase the book in your favorite format: paper, eBook or Audio.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Made with love... come join us! Prayer shawls are made to give to those that are dealing with some difficult times in their life. No experience is necessary. We like to have fun and help support each other through this thing called life.

One Way Yoga

Yin Yoga emphasizes passive, static, postures held for long periods of time with muscles in a relaxed state. This way, the dense connective tissues in and around the muscle joints are stimulated, somewhat stretched and ultimately strengthened.

Our schedule:

Saturdays, 9-10 a.m.: Gentle flow class that welcomes adult and children of all abilities.
Monday, 5-6 p.m.: Gentle flow class that welcomes adults of all ages and abilities.

3rd / 4th Grade Bible Adventure

Third and fourth graders are welcome to join us Saturday, October 13 at 10:00 AM at the Mission Center. Our Bible Adventure Class is a fun and informative introduction to the Bible especially geared for kids.

Bibles will be presented to the students during worship on Sunday, October 14. We ask a parent or grandparent to attend this class with their child.
