MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Congratulations!
Congratulations to Lisa Richter, who was married to Nathan Booth on July 18th in Arlington, VA. It was a simple ceremony in the park, with the parents listening via cell phone. We are hoping for a family celebration next summer.
Backpacks/School Supplies Ministry – IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to coronavirus uncertainties and complications, the backpack ministry is not providing backpacks for individual students this year. Instead we will be offering school supplies directly to CENTENNIAL SCHOOLS, and each school in the Centennial District will distribute supplies that they receive from us, as they see fit.
If you need supplies for your child,
contact your child’s school to let them know of your child’s need.
For more information, contact Our Savior’s Lutheran Church at 763-784-1971.
Worship Volunteers Needed!
St. Mark members are asked to lead the congregation in the readings, passing of the peace, and prayers of the people. Sign up
here
for opportunities throughout the summer!
We will send you a digital copy of the readings or prayers and ask you to record them using your phone or laptop and send them to Tory to add to worship.
Circle Pines Resident Parking
Some of you may have noticed cars parking in the lot throughout the day and overnight. St. Mark has been in conversation with the city of Circle Pines and offered temporary parking to residents who are effected by the road construction. We are happy to offer up our space during this time!
Clorox/Disinfectant Wipes Needed
As the COVID Response Team works on protocols to safely re-open the building, we are in need of Clorox wipes to help disinfect areas. Individuals and groups are asked to wipe down all touched surfaces before and after use, which means we need a healthy stock of disinfectant wipes. As you know, these are hard to come by! If you have any extras (or find any while out shopping) and would be willing to donate wipes to St. Mark, please leave them inside the main door or contact Pastor Mollie or Tory to coordinate a pick-up. Thank you for your support!
Lawn Mowers and Grounds Maintenance
We would like to thank Skip Larson for mowing the lawn this week! Bill Christensen, you are up this week.
Worship Attendance
Worship attendance has continued to be tracked while we worship together virtually. The ELCA has given congregations guidelines as to how we keep track of attendance. Attendance is tracked throughout a 7-day period, so worship attendance will not be available for the previous week as we count on Saturdays.
Average Online Worship Attendance: 289
July 12, 2020: 168
July 5, 2020: 160
June 28, 2020: 188
