Enrollment Now Open   2020-2021 NEW STUDENT/SIBLING ENROLLMENT   Would you like to enroll a child not currently attending Eden?  New student enrollment is now open! It’s easy to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION HERE. If you have a current Eden student that will be re-enrolled during February Re-Enrollment, you will select the  Additional Student Application   for the new student you wish to enroll.   Questions?   Please contact Nanette Curtis at 412-364-8055 or  ncurtis@edenca.org   Note: Re-enrollment of current students begins in February.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Dress Code Reminders   ECA dress code does not permit rips in clothing worn to school. No rips or holes in jeans are permitted.   Leggings and yoga pants are acceptable for girls but must be worn with a long or tunic type shirt that comes down to mid-thigh .   Boy’s hair must be no longer than the top of a crew neck collar in the back, and not below the eyebrows in front.   Hair for boys and girls must be cut so that the student’s face is clearly visible . Hairstyles that “make a statement” by their color or unusual nature are not permitted .

Recess and Cooler Weather   We will continue to go outside for recess in the cooler weather.  Please be sure that your child has the appropriate clothing - jacket, hat, gloves, scarf.

Health Reminder If your child has been ill, please remember that they should be fever free for 24 hours before returning to school .

ACTIVITIES & EVENTS

Thanksgiving Feast November 22 12:00 -1:00 pm in the field house

Silver Graphics Fundraiser benefits the Art program at Eden Order Now through November 27     You can order your child's artwork printed on memorable keepsakes that are perfect for Christmas gifts!  Your child's order form, sent home last week, includes their student ID number used to purchase merchandise at Silvergraphics.com . Or, you can email Ms. Lowery at elowery@edenca.org for your child's number.   Ordering ends on Wednesday, November 27!   Items ordered will be sent home with your student the week of December 16.

Christmas Shop December 5 - 6   Students in Kindergarten through 6th grade will have an opportunity to buy gifts for their parents, grandparents, siblings, and special friends during the school day at the Christmas Shop. You can be part of the Christmas fun! Donate wrapping paper, bows, etc. Come in and help students shop and calculate their money Wrap gifts It's easy to sign-up at CHRISTMAS SHOP HELPER Don't forget that you'll earn volunteer hours for your time!

Elementary Christmas Concert December 9 at 7:00 pm Christ Church at Grove Farm   Kindergarten through sixth grade students from Wexford and Berkeley Hills will join together for this concert that includes performances by the praise team, chorus, rhythm, and band.   It is mandatory for students to attend the Christmas concert.    Families and friends are invited to share a glorious evening honoring our Savior. You won’t want to miss it!

Winter Art Show before the Christmas Concert December 9 6:00-7:00 pm in Christ Church at Grove Farm Cafe beside the main lobby   Enjoy this year's Flower Power themed show .    Students' framed artwork will be available for sale for $30. Payment can be made with cash, check, or credit card. Come early to see the artwork in bloom!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES  Lunchroom The time frame for serving in the lunchroom is 11:40 am-1:30 pm. It's a great help if you are able to come even on an occasional day and it's a fun way to connect with the children. Younger siblings are welcome!
