MP Cinch Bags Fundraiser

The counseling department is selling MP Cinch Bags for $10 as a fundraiser for our Bulldog Blessings fund. All of the proceeds will go directly to our neediest students allowing us to purchase school supplies, toiletries, blankets, coats, technical college application fees, special school events, etc. 
Creations by CHAMP can add a name for an additional $5.00.

Best Buddies News

On July 21-24 Graicyn Lee and Gracie Thompson traveled to the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN to represent Mary Persons' chapter of Best Buddies at the 28th Annual Best Buddies International Leadership Conference. Graicyn and Gracie accepted an award, presented by Best Buddies Founder Anthony Kennedy Shriver and Vice President David Quilleon, for Outstanding Chapter for the 16-17 school year.

Beta Club News

Beta Club members Jason Hickman and Jaylen Prescott recently volunteered to help with the  Back to School supply collection for Monroe County  Schools.
FBLA News

FBLA members Saranne Ezelle and Seth Walker traveled to the FBLA National Conference in Anaheim, California June 28-July 3. While there, Seth competed in Spreadsheet Applications and placed 2nd in the nation!  In addition, the Mary Persons FBLA chapter received the Hollis and Kitty Guy Award and the BAA Award for the entire Southern region. 

We will be holding a recruitment drive in the first few weeks of school. If you are interested in more information, please contact Advisers Susan Little, Amy Myers, or Rosalyn Sparks. Join us as we build bridges this year on our road to the 2018 NLC in Baltimore!

The Cross Country team will have the first practice on  Wednesday, August 2nd from  4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Anyone who is interested in becoming part of the team will need to come to the practice.  Please have a current athletic physical. Media Center Offers Extended Hours

Both Campuses - Open Daily until 3:45.

Freshman Campus Media Center - Open Tuesdays until 4:00

Main Campus Media Center - Open Thursdays until 4:30

Students who wish to take advantage of the extended time 
must  arrive  to the Media Center after the dismissal bell rings.
