Looking into the future of HMIS Data (next Thursday!)
HMIS User Meeting

Next Thursday, we'll be taking a look into the future of HMIS Data at our September HMIS Users Meeting for the Balance of State. Each Fall, we usually review and clean up HMIS data for the AHAR, the Annual Homeless Assessment Report for Congress. This year, the AHAR get's a makeover - and we want you to be prepared!

We'll be looking closely at the data for Federal Fiscal Year 2018 and how this latest version can help your agency.

Tips, Tricks, and Troubleshooting
Does your agency need to get new staff on HMIS?
There's a form for that! Please head to the NCCEH website here to submi t the Balance of State CoC HMIS License Request Form and the information we need to accurate direct your staffer to resources.

There's also an inactivation form in case staff leave and/or no longer need access to HMIS. Help us protect client data!
What's new for HMIS?
Help Us Develop HMIS Training (what do you want from HMIS Training?)
We want to make HMIS easier! Part of our preparations for the HMIS@NCCEH launch is to develop our own suite of trainings for new HMIS users. Help us support HMIS users with better training. Let us know what is most important to you in this short, three minute survey.
Have questions for HUD? So do we!
HUD's Ask A Question (AAQ) has begun tracking what questions by location and topic in order to hear our feedback. When you ask us questions that need clarification or more guidance, we send it to HUD to make sure we're interpreting their resources and requirements accurately.

At a recent HUD System Admin call, North Carolina was ranked #2 for the number of questions submitted to AAQ since May. With your help, our state is getting the more clarification than many communities, and hopefully in turn, our experiences can inform HUD for improvements!

Thank you and please continue sending us your feedback!
Calendar
Make sure you have these events and deadlines on your calendar!
