|
Making a Difference by Design,
a course about leadership, creative problem solving, and social change, attracted more than 45 undergraduate and high school students this summer.
"Students in DEA1110 had a wealth of opportunities for experiential learning. They saw first-hand the relationship between health, hospitality, and design through tours at local health care facilities, hotels, and senior living centers. These site visits encouraged students to connect the classroom content to real-world design decisions," noted Kati Peditto, PhD candidate in Human Behavior Design, Design & Environmental Analysis and CIHF student employee, who assisted in facilitating the course.
