Clark Hill Road Detour
Clark Hill Road closure update
Clark Hill Road, south of Tile Flat Road, is closed through Oct. 22. All travelers must use alternate routes.>
The project will replace the decaying timber bridge with a wider single-span concrete bridge with guardrails.
River Road is also under construction and limited to one lane of traffic controlled by flaggers, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays through Oct. 15. This project overlap is due to an acceleration of the Clark Hill Road project schedule to address unsafe bridge conditions.
All commercial vehicles should follow the signed detour ( see map) or use Scholls Ferry Road to Highway 219. Passenger and non-commercial vehicles may use other alternate routes, such as Scholls Ferry Road to Tile Flat Road.
For more information, visit the  project page or contact Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation at  [email protected] or 503-846-7800.
