June 28 th Fourth Sunday after Pentecost Children’s Chapel
Live on Password-Protected Zoom at 9:30 a.m.

We have been hearing Jesus give a lot of advice to his disciples before sending them out to share God’s light and love with others. Some of this advice has sounded like warnings. This week, Jesus has great news for the disciples…and for us as we do our best to follow Jesus. “Whoever welcomes you, welcomes the One who sent me!” Wow! Could that mean that our own small acts of caring are really ways of sharing God’s love? What if how we act and what we say is greeted with a warm welcome? Are we winning a welcome for God, too?

Please email Ann Enkiri if you need the password-protected Zoom link: sundayschool@ccpk.org .
Hospitality Begins at Home:  We are all missing our usual opportunities to share hospitality with one another—at home and at church. Having guests over for dinner…bringing a treat to Coffee Hour…or making pancakes for a group—like Mama Panya in this story. Share this video story together Then, dust off your family’s hospitality skills and take turns “hosting” a family meal, snack, or dessert—pretend is just fine for little ones. Model for the kids that hospitality means making the experience fun and relaxing for the guests. Then, let them have a turn. We will be ready to welcome back friends when the time is right!

Gracious God, we give you thanks that no building can house you fully
and no place of worship can contain your majesty.
Teach us to create altars in our homes and in our world,
and to see them in acts of compassion and in the beauty of creation,
that we will know that you are indeed present everywhere. Amen .

We're open online!
