Fondly referred to as PSB, the high school Popsicle Stick Bridge competition is arguably the YMF's largest event! It is our largest K-12 outreach event all year. The YMF is looking for volunteers for both event planning and day of support.

Check out the new tunnel before everyone else! For one last chance to be on the Alaska Way viaduct and run through the new SR-99 tunnel, join us on the

Seattle Thunderbirds and Networking
|
Saturday, January 19th
4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Come join your fellow YMFers for a night of
Thunderbirds hockey as they take on the Victoria Royals. This will be a joint event with the Tacoma/Olympia YMF, so it's a great opportunity to meet some new people. Because the event is at the Showare Center in Kent, carpooling will be available from the Seattle area. We plan to have a pre-game networking event at The Ram (with appetizers provided by YMF!) in Kent, and the game starts at 6:05 PM. Ticket costs are expected to be around $22/person and plus ones are welcome. If you are interested, please RSVP to
Leo Moyer by January 4th.

February 15 - 17
Mt Hood, OR
The annual YMF ski retreat is coming up February 15 to 17! This year, the Oregon YMF will be hosting at Mt Hood. This event is always a highlight of the YMF calendar. Two cabins are booked in the shadow of Mt. Hood and hopefully we can bring a large group! If you aren't into skiing, alternative activities will be organized to ensure that everyone will have something to do.
Attendance is first come first serve, so please RSVP to
Leo Moyer if you would like to reserve a spot. Cost will be determined based on the number of attendees.
