Mosaic is Grateful for You
During this uncertain time, we are especially grateful that we are able to continue connecting foreign-born individuals with resources for starting or growing a business, with Professional Connections or Coaching to help with networking or career transitions, and with introductions that facilitate collaboration and innovation. Thank you to all our supporters and community partners who help us create this welcoming, growth-focused environment!

Int'l Spouse Meetup Group hits 500 Members!
(Photo from one of the International Spouse Meetup Group's activities on Zoom)
Our International Spouse Meetup Group (ISMG), effortlessly run by Mosaic Consultant, Susan Gobbo (who started the group when her family was transferred here from Brazil for her husband's job and she felt alone) has hit a milestone with 500 members! The unique social support offered by the program has proven instrumental in helping foreign-born families successfully and happily acclimate to their new lives in St. Louis. To-date, the group represents 76 countries, from A to Z (Azerbaijan to Zimbabwe!). Many ISMG members also join the International Mentoring Program, the brainchild of volunteer Annie Schlafly, to be matched with a local mentor who provides one-on-one guidance to the nuances of living and loving St. Louis. Congratulations to Susan, Annie and the ISMG Cultural Ambassadors who lead and organize (now) virtual gatherings that educate, inform and entertain newcomers about the region's assets.
Amplifying Black Immigrants' Stories
(Photo from Arinola's Mosaic story )
Mosaic is uniquely positioned to educate the region's foreign-born community about our African-American community as well as sharing stories of our Black immigrants and continuing to look for ways to support and amplify the needs of both. Immigration stories are diverse and include Black immigrants. Here is Arinola Solanke's story, that started in Nigeria then England and now St. Louis.

We will continue to highlight the diversity of St. Louis' immigrant and foreign-born community and encourage you to check our growing library of Mosaic Stories for more like Arinola's.
