PARENT - STUDENT INFO FOR THE WEEK
----- September 10, 2018 -----
Students and parents,

Thank you for your efforts in getting us off to a great start to the school year. I wanted to quickly update you on some highlights for this busy week:

STUDENT SAFETY
Student safety is important to us. We have already held our first monthly fire drill as well as a lockdown drill. This morning we also held a severe weather drill. Our campus security, staff and administration are continuing to work to make sure that Northland is a safe place for all on our campus.  We ask that parents help by signing in and out in the office when you visit during the school day.

BLOOD DRIVE
Our Student Council is partnering with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center for a blood drive Wednesday.  Students 16 and older may give with parent permission and parents are welcome to give. If you want to give, please make arrangements with our Student Council Sponsor, Amy McCathran.

CHAPEL
Wednesday is also chapel from 9:30 -10:12. Parents are always welcome to attend.

STUDENT TUTORIALS
Teachers are available for Student Tutorials this Thursday morning from 7:30-8:30 a.m.  Students, Thursday morning is a great opportunity to visit and work with your teachers.

SCHOOL PICTURES
Secondary school pictures are Thursday morning. Students should wear their uniforms and follow the instructions for ordering pictures from our previous email.

WEAR SUPERHERO SHIRT
Friday we are on an activity schedule ending the day with a "Avenge the Warriors" themed pep rally (Secondary campus). Students will be allowed to wear superhero shirts to school Friday with black or blue jeans.
Please save your capes and costumes for the pep rally.

TAILGATE PARTY
PTO is hosting a tailgate party at 6:00 prior to Friday's 7:00 home football game vs. Cypress Christian. We would love for you to attend!

Have a great week!
