Your November 3, 2019 Morgan Hill Weekly 411
Happy "Power Filled" Weekend Morgan Hill!

First, a sincere thank you to our community for your patience during the recent PG&E Public Safety Power Shutdowns (PSPS). We understand that these outages have impacted many in the community. As the City, we did our best to minimize impacts to City services and to share important information as it became available to us. However, as you know, the City has no control over the PSPS outages. We hope that the recent experiences, while difficult, have raised your awareness around the need to be prepared for all emergencies and natural disasters. We all can be more prepared!
We are well into fall and that means it is time to adjust your clocks back one hour. Daylight saving time ends at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 3. Whether you adjust your clocks before going to bed on Saturday night or first thing on Sunday morning, don't forget!

Residents also need to adjust their lawn watering days to one day per week to stay within the City's irrigation rules. From November 1, 2019, through March 31, 2020, watering is limited to Wednesdays only. For more information, visit Environmental Services's Water Use Rules & Regulations web page or the most recent fact sheet (PDF) .

Enjoy the week ahead. As always, we appreciate your ongoing engagement in all aspects of community life and local government.
Have a safe week ahead and be prepared!

Wednesdays Only
November 1 - March 31
Water is always a precious resource in Morgan Hill and with this in mind, our permanent watering restrictions have been designed to best manage the City's potable water supply. These restrictions will help us avoid or minimize the effects of drought, climate change and the unreliability of the imported water infrastructure that serves the City of Morgan Hill.

Complete rules and restrictions can be found in  Water Waste Ordinance No. 2236 .

Customers can report water waste  online  or by calling the Water Waste Hotline at 408-310-4195.
