Senior/Key Person Profile Form Required for DoD Grant Proposals
DoD released a memorandum directing specific current and pending support effort information be submitted at proposal for grants and cooperative agreements for all key personnel, whether or not the individuals' efforts are to be funded by the DoD. This directive requires applicants select the "Senior/Key Person Profile (Expanded)" form from among the "optional forms" available in the SF424 suite of forms. The required information, which is listed in the memorandum, will be used to support protection of intellectual property, controlled information, and critical technologies relevant to national security.

A huge "Thank You!" to Stephanie Tomlinson, Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist in the Office of the VPR, for purchasing and contributing this NCURA webinar to the University's MediaSite library: Research Development for Research Administrators: Understanding, Mapping and Leveraging Assets . Participants will receive planning tools designed to help identify and leverage the strengths of their sponsored programs office, as well as to create and implement research development activities in their institutions.

Send a thank you note to Stephanie Tomlinson

Thank you, Catharine

Catharine Corder will be leaving UT on November 22nd. Catharine joined OSP in early 2013 on the Proposal Team as a Grants and Contracts Specialist and soon transitioned into the role of a Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist on the Contracts and Agreements Team. In 2017, she moved into the role of a Sr. Administrative Program Coordinator, where she developed a training program for internal and external stakeholders. Her training methods have fostered the professional development for all of us who are passionate about Research Administration. Which is no easy undertaking! She skillfully developed methods for training that allowed her to share her knowledge and expertise with her co-workers and colleagues throughout campus, always gently guiding us through. Her contributions to OSP and the University have been remarkable and we know they will be felt for years to come.
Fundamentals Workshop
The Fundamentals workshop is offered in two modules (Pre-Award and Post-Award) and is designed to give participants a firm foundation in the federal regulations and UT policies and procedures that govern the life-cycle of a sponsored project. The Fundamentals workshop includes presentations by central and departmental staff, case studies, and reference materials to take back to your desk.
