Hello Raw Nationals Lifters and Coaches!

First off, a HUGE thank you for being part of Raw Nationals in Spokane, WA. We are honored that Raw Committee athletes voted for our city to host the 2018 National meet and we look forward to putting on a fun and exciting event for everyone.

Please take the time to read through this message thoroughly as we have a lot of info to cover. There will be numerous emails and updates coming over the next 6 weeks so if you are no longer planning to compete, you may notify us on the lifter change form to be removed from the roster and email list: CLICK HERE TO BE REMOVED

Our entry deadline is behind us and we have a record setting 1204 lifters registered!! Our technical team is working around the clock to confirm QT's and membership status. Please bear with us as we are waiting for meet results from this past weekend to be updated in the database. Once we have finished confirming all lifters on the roster, we'll break it down into sessions, followed by flights. We expect the session breakdown to be completed and emailed to all competitors by September 3rd. Please do not email us requesting flight/session schedules. All registered athletes will receive an email with the meet schedule as soon as it is completed.

The following roster is preliminary as not all QT's have been confirmed:
Athlete & Coach Liability Waiver

ALL athletes and coaches must sign USA Powerlifting's electronic waiver to participate in the event. Your membership number indicated on the waiver will be cross referenced with your entry form or coach registration. Please take a moment to complete your waiver ASAP:
Lifter Changes and Updates

If you need to add/change change coaches or weight classes (for qualified weight classes only) please do so on the change form:

A brief note to clear up confusion that some lifters have had about changing weight classes: You may only lift in a class that you have competed and qualified in, unless your QT is high enough to qualify you for a heavier weight class than you competed in. Example: Open Female athlete qualifies in the 72kg class with a total of 370kg. Athlete may choose to move up to the 84kg class as QT meets 84kg class minimum. Athlete may not move down to the 63kg class as she has not achieved a QT in competition at the lower bodyweight.

Coaches

Only registered coaches will be permitted in the warm-up area. Coaches must be registered prior to the event with a current membership number for verification. Registered coaches will purchase a general admission pass ($10 cash) at the door for the day they're coaching. You will be given a pass for your lifter's session to be in the warm-up area. Additional coaches will be charged $20 for the day.   COACHES PASSES HERE

Many of you are already aware but as a reminder, the host hotel (and venue) for this event changed companies last month and is now named The Centennial . This is the same hotel as was used for Open Nationals in May. If you had reservations here under the Hotel RL name, they have been transferred over to The Centennial.
Lots more info will follow so be on the lookout. Please feel free to email us with any questions. We are looking forward to having everyone in Spokane!
