FaithWorks is deeply saddened by the recent violence and division happening across the nation. We fight our battles with scripture and prayer. We are praying for an abundance of love and a peaceful resolution.

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

What have the residents been up to?

We have 63 residents, including 36 children at our 3 housing programs! These people continue to work hard on obtaining or maintaining permanent housing. Some of the primary focus has been on sobriety, mental health, employment, spiritual wellness and parenting skills. We celebrate victories big and small!

This Mom started her dream job at Cal-trans !! She put one foot in front of the other to overcome a lifetime of adversity. She previously worked hard as a housekeeper to provide for her family and maintained a great attitude while doing so. She has a passion for landscaping and feels blessed to be doing what she loves! This family has been working closely with Crystal to strengthen their spiritual foundation and continue moving forward. This dad has been working closely with Melissa to set and obtain goals. During the short time in our program, he has accomplished so much! With a history of addiction and criminal behaviors, this gentleman needed a push to begin believing in himself. After being pushed, he has taken off and knows that he can achieve great things. He recently discharged parole successfully and ahead of schedule. He also obtained his first official drivers licence.

We have been blessed to pray and walk along side these families! They are miracles!

Check out our Flower Power Fundraiser! New Fundraiser!! With our annual fundraiser canceled due to COVID 19, we were looking for fun and safe ways to raise funds. We partnered with Flower Power Fundraising to allow our supporters to pump up their gardens while giving back to FaithWorks. After more than 15 years of serving our homeless population in Shasta County, we have acquired a lovely garden of supporters and so many of you have reached out and offered support during these challenging times. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to fund supportive services at Francis Court I , II and the House of Cornelius. This fiscal year, we have spent more than $5000 on supportive services, including, classroom supplies, diapers, wipes, emergency food and other items provided directly to clients to help rebuild lives! We have done this with your help! And we are so happy to be of service at FaithWorks! If you are like many others, you may be putting in overtime in your garden this year.... if so, consider buying garden supplies here and help us rebuild lives. Welcome New Staff Member!

In May, FaithWorks partnered with Dignity Health for the launch of the Options Program! This new program is geared towards homeless prevention and helps to stabilize households so they can maintain their housing. We were so excited for this launch but even more excited to welcome Assistant Case Manager Adele on board. Adele joined us and has transitioned beautifully in to this new position. We have been rockin and rollin helping families and individuals affected by COVID 19 avoid becoming homeless.

Welcome Adele! We prayed for the Lord to send us the right person and our prayers were answered.
