We are starting a new section of the newsletter this week that will highlight members and business owners of the Chamber that are doing great things in their work and the community!
This week's Member Spotlight is dedicated to Nancie King Mertz!
Nancie, the owner and artist at
ArtDeTriumph & Artful Framer Studios (2938 N. Clark), has been doing what she loves for over 35 years. She moved her business, Artful Framer Studios, to Chicago in 1987. After many personal success with her own art, her husband, Ron Mertz, saw a high demand for Nancie's oil and pastel artwork and created ArtDeTriumph 18 years ago. Now, Nancie's work can be seen throughout Chicago and Lakeview East!
A HUGE congratulations is also in store because she was recently invited by the President of Art du Pastel in France to be their Guest of Honor the last week of May 2020. Nancie's art will be displayed in a show and member exhibition, and she will also teach a workshop in the hometown of Claude Monet! We are incredibly proud to have such an accomplished business owner and artist right here in Lakeview East.
Make sure to stop by ArtDeTriumph & Artful Framer Studios to congratulate Nancie and see the amazing artwork she's created throughout the years!
Check out some of Nancie's work below! You can see more beautiful art on her website
here
. You can also see Nancie and her work at the 2018 Lakeview East Festival of the Arts at booth number 99.
If you are interested in being featured in a future Member Spotlight, please email [email protected].
