HSD's annual Summer Summit is taking place on Thursday, Aug. 23, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Century High School. This is a voluntary opportunity for licensed and classified staff to focus on instructional practices, and will feature a keynote speech from Dave Burgess, New York Times best-selling author of "Teach Like a Pirate." HSD's annual benefits open enrollment window is Aug. 15 to Sept. 5. You must either enroll for benefits or decline coverage during that time. Several
enrollment assistance meetings are being held over the next two weeks to assist you. Please see the
Benefits webpage for more information.
Important Information about School Bus Service
Busing information for all students will be available on Wednesday, Aug. 22, using the "
MyBus" tab on our
website. Please note that due to a national shortage of bus drivers, there may be delays and disruptions to normal bus service, and there will be
less flexibility around bus availability for off-site academic and athletic events and activities.
The Hillsboro School District Board of Directors comprises seven elected members serving four-year terms. Board members are community volunteers and do not receive compensation for their work. Board members establish policy based on Oregon and Federal laws governing schools. The Board approves policies for the Superintendent to implement. Email:
