The Children's Trust Announces
A Full Day of Social Emotional Learning Awareness in November
A critical part of a child's growth involves his or her Social Emotional Learning (SEL) development, the process through which children understand and manage their emotions. The Children's Trust is showing its dedication to this crucial part of their development by holding a Social Emotional Learning Awareness Day from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., November 2. The day-long event includes a morning session with speakers followed by breakout sessions in the afternoon focusing on adverse childhood experiences (ACES), responding to mental health crisis and the National Alliance on Mental Illness' Ending the Silence program. The event will be held at the United Way, 3250 SW 3 Ave., Miami, FL 33129. Lunch will be provided and there will be raffles.

To register at no cost visit TinyURL.com/SEL-Awareness-2019.
