The Northeast High School Class of 2020 has planned a graduating seniors vehicle procession to celebrate graduation. The Broward Sherriff’s Office will manage traffic to ensure public safety. 
 
With social distancing guidelines still in place and a foremost consideration, this procession of vehicles involves only the graduating seniors . For more information, please call 954-630-4335.

City's Summer Food Program at Three Locations
Open to All Area Youth 18 Years of Age & Younger

Free lunch & snacks are provided Monday through Friday from noon to 1 p.m. through Friday, August 11th with the exception of the July 4th Holiday.
  • The SFSP is open to ALL children ages 18 and younger
  • TO-GO meals are provided/No eating on premises at this time

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), all City facilities continue to be closed, including City Hall. The June 3, 2020 City Commission Meeting will be held per   Governor's Executive Order 20-69 , which was extended by EO 20-112, and can be viewed remotely via live webstream on the City's website , Comcast/Xfinity Channel 78, or AT&T Channel 99.

2020 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday
Through Thursday, June 4

The 2020 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday is taking place through Thursday, June 4.

During this sales tax holiday period, qualifying items related to disaster preparedness are exempt from sales tax. However, the sales tax holiday does not apply to the rental or repair of any of the qualifying items

SHIP funding is available to Oakland Park residents who cannot afford rental payments due to job loss from the COVID-19 actions .
