Year-Round Community

While many friends, families and guests enjoy Lakeside in the summer months, Lakeside runs all-year long. Many homeowners live in the community year-round and a number of full-time staff work diligently throughout the year to manage ongoing business and plan for next summer's Chautauqua experience.

Program preparations , fundraising, maintenance of the grounds, hosting off-season events, marketing and website updates ,  and implementing the budget are just some of the many tasks that are completed during the fall, winter and spring months.



By giving a monthly gift to the Lakeside Annual Fund , you are helping to provide a stable source of revenue to our Chautauqua program, beautiful gardens, historic buildings and many other year-long critical needs of our special community.

Help Strengthen & Protect Lakeside

We're challenging 200 friends and families to step up and pledge a monthly gift to the Lakeside Annual Fund this fiscal year. Fifty families have stepped up to the challenge – if you are willing and financially able, will you join them?

Throughout our nearly 150-year history, Lakeside has always been resilient through economic hardship and societal struggles.

If we each pitch in and contribute what we can, we ensure that Lakeside will again forge through and become stronger and more connected to its mission. Through your love and dedication to Lakeside, we can work through these challenging times and continue to be the great community so many of you call home.

How to Give

Establishing a monthly gift is easy! Make an initial gift online or call the Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation at (419) 798-4461, ext. 246. If make an online gift in the 'Give Monthly' form below, select your desired monthly amount and type 'YES' in the comment box. Our Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation staff will follow up with a quick phone call to confirm credit card information and schedule details moving forward.

Your online donation is processed through Blackbaud, our secure gift processing software, and we cannot see any details of your credit card information.

Gifts of Every Amount are Meaningful & Valuable

Monthly gifts add up in a big way, allowing you to support Lakeside in a way that is affordable for you and your family and doesn’t require you to give a lump sum at year-end. You can give in manageable increments through convenient automatic deductions from your credit card, debit card or checking account.
