MCS Summer Construction Update
August 13, 2018

"Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good deeds and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
Matthew 5:16
Hello and Happy Summer MCS Community!

I trust you are all enjoying some special family connection time and the amazing opportunities we have to play in southern California and likely beyond. I know you have taken a break from thinking about school for many weeks and assume that your thoughts are slowly turning towards MCS in preparation for another amazing year of school. Rest assured that we have not stopped thinking about you, our school and the wonderful experiences that lie ahead for our entire community.

There are some very exciting things happening on campus! The construction process has just been incredible and God continues to provide abundantly in every conceivable manner. I would like to take this opportunity to help you catch up on summer construction developments, what will happen over the next few weeks to prepare for the opening of school and what you can expect when you return to campus.

First, I'd like to express my pleasure and confidence in our Construction Team this summer. Contractors Mike and Micah Nourse, Architect Tony Massaro, Project Managers Glenn Allen (MCS Alumni Dad and Former MCS Board Member) and Danielle Marqualt have been extremely hands on every single day to ensure our timelines are met. They all have brought God-honoring passion to the project and that has provided me with confidence that God assembled this Construction Team for such a time as this in the life of His school.

Each week our team meets for several hours to discuss the plans, timelines, progress and sometimes even surprises that dictate the construction process. The team feels confident in the expediency of the project so far and looks forward to beginning the inner finishes that will bring our new areas to life.
