Meet Your Teachers & Open House on Friday, August 17
Join us as we kick off the 2018-2019 school year at The Summit Prep! All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
2-3 p.m. -- Meet Your Teachers: Meet up with your 2018-2019 Summit teachers and classmates, and you get to see your new classroom spaces!
3-4 p.m. -- Open House: Time to explore the new campus and take your picture with the Raven Wings located in the Lower School Annex!

Back to School Bash Postponed Due to Weather
Due to weather, we have postponed our Back to School Bash until Friday, August 24th. Mark your calendars, and plan to attend our bash right after school from 3:30 -5:00 p.m. in our Summit backyard.

First Day of School Activities: Monday, August 20th
The first day of school is always a special one! Parents are encouraged to park and walk their child(ren) into the building on Monday. We will have photo opportunities in the lobby before school starts (students can head to their classroom areas beginning at 8:30 a.m.) and our annual Boo-hoo/Woo-hoo Coffee for parents in the lobby area after drop off, around 8:45-9:30 a.m.

Hot Lunch: Pre-Order Hot Lunch
The Summit Prep has partnered with
Infused Catering to offer a delicious, hot lunch option for our students. What this means for our students:
- Fresh, homemade, and hot lunches are delivered to our campus Monday-Thursday.
- A dedicated caterer will be on campus during lunch to serve students.
- A monthly menu will be available.
- Domino's pizza lunch will be every Friday.
- Lunches are $4 when ordered in advance, does not include milk. Advance orders are due on Thursdays, the week prior, to receive reduced pricing the following week.
- Daily ordering will still be available for $5. Orders will be taken by the teachers with attendance at 9 a.m.

THURSDAY before to receive the $4 pre-order price.

Unlimited Fun Zone Sign Up
The Summit offers before and after school care on campus, referred to as Fun Zone.
Ashton Tyson is returning as our Fun Zone leader.
Before School, from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
- single morning: $10 per morning

unlimited for the month: $100 per month
After School, from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
- single afternoon: $15 per afternoon

unlimited for the month: $150 per month
For single visits, you do not need to sign your child up for unlimited Fun Zone. Simply let your classrooms teacher and the front desk (frontdesk@thesummitprep.org) know your student will be needing afternoon Fun Zone before the end of the school day. Charges will be made to your family account, and you will be billed during the next monthly payment period.
If you would like to sign your child(ren) up for UNLIMITED Fun Zone (if you plan on using the before or after care more than 10 times a month), please use the button on the right to sign up. *Note: You need to resign up for Unlimited Fun Zone if you used it in 2017-2018.

Summit Family Business Directory: Available to View Family Businesses
The Summit Parent Organization (SPO) would like to build relationships within The Summit community by offering families with businesses the opportunity to list their business in The Summit Business Directory. This will allow us to support one another through referrals and patronage.
Participation is completely optional and free of charge. Additionally, teachers are excited at the prospect of the Business Directory to have as a reference for potential guest speakers in their classrooms &/or field trip opportunities. If you are interested in being listed in the Business Directory, please use this link to submit your information.

Box Tops, Labels for Education, & Tyson Project A+
Don't forget to keep collecting all your box tops, labels, and Tyson product codes! We have a clear bucket in the lobby to collect these labels all year long. Please be sure to ask your family and friends to collect theirs as well. The Summit gets credit for every label turned in!

Mabel's Labels
Mabel's Labels are great, adhesive labels for everything: uniform shirts, water bottles, lunch boxes, pencil cases, laptops, etc. They stick and won't come off in the wash!
