Principal's Message

We had a great first week of school and it was wonderful to have everyone back on campus!

Students did an amazing job transitioning back into their respective Labs; CORE Labs for grades 9-12 and Learning Labs for grades 4-8 along with district wide pre-testing for all grade levels.

We are very excited to watch our students go "Above & Beyond" this year.

All students will arrive and be dismissed through the front doors. Hi Hope Road or Hurricane Shoals Road should never be blocked with cars waiting to pull into the

Grades 4-12: GOC Contributions & Parent Portal

MyPaymentsPlus Logo
We ask that all families review the 2018-2019 contribution form on MyPaymentsPlus as well as update their contact information in the Parent Portal.

Students new to GCPS will need to create an account in MyPaymentsPlus and fill out a form in person on campus to set-up access to the Parent Portal.
GCPS School Bus Camera Safety Program

While GCPS does not provide bus transportation for students to GOC, we would like to take this opportunity to remind drivers of the School Bus Safety Rules they must follow when they encounter a school bus on the roadway.

GCPS has placed cameras on buses as a deterrent for drivers who illegally pass school buses. When the school bus amber or red lights are flashing, the system automatically detects vehicles passing the stopped school bus, and records the violation. Violaters will receive a citation in the mail.

Safety is a priority when it comes to transporting all students and we all play a key role in keeping students safe.
