We Met Our Challenge Goal
On behalf of the 1300 children we reach in North Carolina, our board of directors and staff, I thank you for your wonderful support during our school year end challenge. Our challenge was to raise an additional $30,000 by June 30 and we met it, raising $33,766.  Enjoy the rest of your summer and thanks for your gracious support.

Camp High Hopes
In July, NC Arts in Action partnered with the A.E. Finley YMCA to bring our program to Camp High Hopes. Held over three weeks in North Raleigh, this summer camp experience brought our innovative performing arts program to YMCA day campers and ended with a showcase for counselors, parents and friends that included our LEAP Team on July 23. We look forward to future collaborations with the A.E. Finley YMCA and its wonderful staff and campers.

Shaan Live Concert
Shaan Live in Concert with Arpita Mukherjee was produced as a benefit concert for NC AIA on July 13. Sponsored By @AKM Investments-Brokers and Live Entertainment, the concert also featured our LEAP Team. Thank you Arvind Mahajan for an incredible evening celebrating love and building community, as well as for the great work that is going into raising awareness and support for North Carolina Arts in Action.  We'd also like to share a special thanks to our network of parents, friends and supporters for believing in our mission.

Holt Elementary Begins New Season
Our program has kicked off this week at Holt Elementary School as our first experience for the new school year. Students are learning how to jump and leap, practicing timing and counting and learning about our country's fight for independence in a  Revolutionary War theme.  Stay tuned for photos in a future newsletter.
On behalf of the children we serve, please consider a donation to NC Arts in Action. Help keep our children dancing in 13 schools across four counties!
