A note from the president
Hey friends,

There’s a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy downtown this coming week, with more than 40 food trucks setting up shop at Mears Park on Saturday and plenty of activities highlighting the Saint Paul arts and music scene at Central Station. For a remedy to the dog days of summer, there’s also lunchtime open skate sessions at the TRIA Rink at Treasure Island Center. And don't forget to check out live music at the Securian Farmers Market on Wednesdays. (I'm pictured with musician Chris Koza who performed yesterday.) However you’re enjoying these last days of summer, be sure to make the most of our great city!

See you all around (down)town,

Joe Spencer
President

Head to Lowertown for the Saint Paul Food Truck Festival
More than 40 food trucks are heading to Mears Park, offering global cuisines ranging from Indian to British to Japanese to locally grown pork. Don't miss the food, beer, games, and live music this Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.

Next week at Central Station
We have a great lineup at Central Station next week! Creative Saint Paul will be on site on Wednesday afternoon to connect people with art events, music, plays, cultural experiences, and more. Plus, on Friday, August 24, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Social Jam will give visitors a chance to explore sound and music by playing a random collection of instruments and noisemakers. No skill required!

Lace up your skates at Treasure Island Center
Beat the heat as summer winds down during open skating sessions at the TRIA Rink at Treasure Island Center. Sessions are open to all skating abilities daily from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
