New Biostatistics Chair
Dr. Heather M. Bush has been named Chair of the Department of Biostatistics, effective immediately. She is the second individual to hold the post since the establishment of the College.

“Dr. Bush has already proven herself an able leader, serving as interim department chair since August 2017,” said Dean Donna Arnett. “I look forward to working with her in this role, and anticipate that her tenure will be marked by continued excellence in the Department of Biostatistics.”

Building a Health Coalition Across Jurisdictional Boundaries

Dr. Akosua K. Adu, DrPH/Epidemiology alumna, is a co-author on the of the publication "Measuring Women's Empowerment in Sub-Saharan Africa: Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analyses of the Demographic and Health Surveys," appearing in the journal Frontiers in Psychology.
