We’re presenting
Sustainability Action Plan 4 (SAP-4)
to the City Council for adoption, and we want your participation!
This new plan, including a $7.5M budget, maps out proposed actions the City will take during the next 3 fiscal years to help meet our greenhouse gas reduction targets and achieve overarching goals to make Mountain View a more livable, sustainable place for everyone. Based on Council Sustainability Committee feedback last month, we are presenting a final version of SAP-4 to the City Council for input and adoption on October 22.
Meeting details, including the agenda and SAP-4 report (item 7.1), will be posted
here
by the end of Thursday, October 17.
Thanks to
your
input, we’ve developed a plan that is representative of community values and ideas. Recommendations made by the Environmental Sustainability Task Force 2, input at Committee and City Council meetings, and other community feedback have been instrumental in helping shape the plan.
We hope to see you next Tuesday at the City Council meeting to provide input or just listen to the discussion.
