On August 1, the College of Public Health welcomed three new faculty members. They are

High School Football Injuries
Dr. Charlotte Baker lead author of the publication "Factors related to return to play after knee injury in high school football athletes," appearing in the Annals of Epidemiology. Co-authors are Dr. Steve Browning, Dr. Terry Bunn, Dr. Richard Charnigo, and Dr. Wayne Sanderson.

Dr. Philip Westgate is a co-author of "The effect of transcutaneous spinal direct current stimulation on corticospinal excitability in chronic in complete spinal cord injury," appearing in the journal NeuroRehabilitation. Dr. Elizabeth Salmon Powell, UK Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, is the lead author.

Dr. Bin Huang is a co-author of "Geographical, racial and socio-economic variation in life expectancy in the US and their impact on cancer relative survival," appearing in PLoS One. Dr. Angela B. Mariotto, National Cancer Institute Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences is the lead author.
