The encore edition of Open Elgin, a free, self-guided architectural tour presented by the Elgin Area Chamber and the Elgin Development Group's Enhancing Elgin committee, returns on Saturday, April 21 from 1-5pm.
Last year's highly successful, inaugural event saw more than 400 people descend on the City in the Suburbs from over 50 different zip codes spanning five different states. This year's Open Elgin tour will feature more than 35 unique spaces and places that showcase Elgin's historic and architectural beauty. Many of last year's most popular tour stops are returning, including:

- Professional Building/Elgin Art Showcase (164 Division St)
- Kresmery Lofts (1 Douglas Avenue)
- Old Main/Elgin History Museum
