Thank you to the entire Camp Family for your ongoing Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace. Over the last few days, we have received an outpouring of support and encouragement from friends and family following our announcement to temporarily shutter BDC for Summer 2020, due to COVID-19. Typically, the beginning of June is go-time. The firing gun has already gone off and we are in a mad dash to setup camp, train our staff, and welcome hundreds of children and families onto our campus all before the end of the month.  This is no typical year, however. In these uncertain times, I am reminded to be FLEXIBLE and to find a silver-lining amidst the chaos. I will not be standing on the Welcome Walk to give you a hug, handshake, or high five this summer, yet I am thrilled to have the time to pickup some new hobbies, like rollerblading throughout Boston! Although there is a large piece missing from my life this summer, it is these new and exciting opportunities to be FLEXIBLE that keep my spirits up. I encourage you to accept the chaos, uncertainty, and even disappointment, so that you are able to look past these challenges with FLEXIBILITY. I hope that you, too, might find some silver-linings in our new reality this summer.

A new opening ball has rung for us as we are working diligently to create many forms of exciting engagement for you this summer. Over the next few weeks, you will receive more information regarding the opportunities that we are able to create for the Camp Family to connect and engage. We hope that you might share your flexibility and the silver-linings that you create this summer with us and the rest of the BDC community.
