President's Message

Welcome back to what I'm sure is going to be another fantastic school year at CMM! At times, middle school seems to fly by, and at other times it presents some challenges that seem to drag on. Entering 6th grade for the first time can be nerve racking. You feel as though your child will never make it through sometimes. All the adjustments of bell schedules, dressing out for gym, clubs, school sports and leadership can be overwhelming. Then you blink and they're choosing what high school they'll be off to!

Principal's Message

We have had a great start to the 2019-2020 school year!!! Caddo Middle Magnet has been a busy place this summer with upgrades to our facilities, new paintings around the building, welcoming new staff, and implementing lots of new programs.

We have been busy in Stallion Country these first eight weeks! All 1,175 of our students have been sorted into Houses. We are so excited about #CMMUNITY. The idea is to build a community atmosphere at our school. The kids and adults will have fun, play games, and get to know each other during House Days. The Houses will also perform acts of kindness/community service throughout the year. Another aspect is a friendly competition between the Houses with fundraisers, community service, and school service. This year we have divided the larger Houses into smaller Families that meet two mornings a month during Stallion Roundup. At the end of the year, we will have a House Celebration and name the winning house. The main idea is to give everyone on our campus a sense of belonging and purpose. Please go to middlemagnet.com or herdthenews.com to watch our House video.

We are all so excited about this new school year and can't wait to see all of the wonderful things our students will accomplish!
