The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors have agendized the extension of permits for building and construction, scheduled for next week on July 7. BIA-LAV will be reviewing this information and will be prepared to testify at the Board hearing. Click here for the full motion.

City of Ventura Begins Early Planning on Inclusionary Housing
Last week, the City of Ventura held a meeting with stakeholders to reignite their affordable housing policy planning efforts. The City has decided not to move forward with a Linkage Fee and shared a very preliminary proposal on an Inclusionary Housing Ordinance. BIA-LAV will be working with staff and our members to ensure that the interests of the building industry are included if this policy moves forward. Contact Diana Coronado for more information.
