The State of Sustainability
Come explore the State of Sustainability on November 14 in Cincinnati, OH at the upcoming SGP Community Day 2018. 

The State of Sustainability is about taking stock of where we are as a world and how our efforts as a community are influencing it. We all know the opportunities and challenges in achieving the triple bottom line of economic growth that is within planetary boundaries and is socially responsible. SGP Community Day offers a chance to reflect on these, learn from each other, and return to our work with renewed inspiration.

Additionally, this year's SGP Community Day marks the 10th anniversary of the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership. We look forward to coming together with everyone to celebrate our community's achievements and to collectively brainstorm about what lies ahead for the next decade.

Learn from our Community
SGP Community Day is a learning experience that brings organizations together to motivate and inspire them to move toward their goals in sustainable business practices.  Kate Taylor from Infinity Images participated in SGP Community Day for the first time in 2017. She attended to "learn from and meet experts in the field, see what SGP is all about, and identify resources to help navigate the sustainability journey." Kate was able to do this through SGP's roundtable discussions and knowledgeable speakers. Her favorite quote from the day was Marci Kinter telling the community "sustainability must become a part of a company's soul."

TLMI Joins SGP Community as Resource Partner

TLMI has announced that the association's L.I.F.E. (Label Initiative for the Environment) certification program has merged with the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) certification program. Since 2007, L.I.F.E. has helped guide the tag and label industry by assisting converters and industry suppliers in prioritizing best sustainability practices and environmental stewardship. Through this merger, the printing industry becomes even stronger on its sustainability journey. Informational webinars are being developed for L.I.F.E certified facilities to learn more about transitioning to SGP. Learn more
