Open Position: Post-Doctoral Fellowship
|
|
The Begun Center invites applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in trauma and violence prevention.
This position provides opportunity for participation in research and evaluation on violence exposure and trauma, evidence-based treatment, development of screening instruments, curriculum development and training to recognize trauma, and dissemination of project findings. Project areas include behavioral health, juvenile justice, law enforcement, the heroin-opiate crisis, sexual assault, human trafficking, and much more.
This full-time position focuses on participating in research, evaluation, training, and dissemination activities. Fellows will have the opportunity to guest lecture in courses taught by Begun Center faculty on topics related to violence prevention, and to participate in dissemination on center research and evaluation.

Center for Innovative Practices at the Begun Center welcomes a new Research Associate,
Kimberlyn Meyer
(pictured). Kim is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Independently Licensed Chemical Dependency counselor in the State of Ohio and has been providing an array of therapeutic services with individuals, families and groups for children, adolescents and adults over the past two decades. Welcome, Kim!
Maggie McGuire
and
Chase Klingenstein
were both promoted to Research Assistants 4. Maggie works on the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative and the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center evaluation. Chase works on the CPD Settlement Agreement, MyCOM, Assisted Outpatient Treatment, and the Safe Schools/Healthy Students project evaluations. Congratulations, Maggie and Chase!
