Hello Morgan Hill!

As many of you are aware, power restoration to Morgan Hill in relation to the October 26th PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Event began at approximately 10:45 a.m. this morning, Monday, October 28, 2019.

Please be aware that there is a possibility of another PSPS event impacting portions of Morgan Hill beginning in the early morning tomorrow, Tuesday, October, 29, 2019.

The City of Morgan Hill reminds all community members to be responsible for their own emergency preparedness. Be aware of neighbors who are elderly, people with disabilities, or who otherwise might be more likely to need help.

  • Refer to www.pge.com/pspsupdates or call 1-800-743-5002 for the most recent updates. It is suggested to enter your specific address to determine if you are within the impacted area.


  • Sign up for City email notifications.


  • Call 911 ONLY for emergencies.

  • For information about City of Morgan Hill services during a PSPS event call 669-201-2565, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The entire community is invited to attend coffee with our Mayor, Rich Constantine, this Saturday, November 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Centennial Recreation Center Lobby.

The Mayor provides the coffee and you provide your comments, suggestions and questions.

This is a great opportunity to engage with the Mayor in an informal environment that lends itself to comfortable conversation. There is no agenda. The conversation is guided by the community members who attend.

Engage Morgan Hill is a community conversation about services, funding and priorities. It will be a year-long community engagement process that will take us right through the next next two year budget development and adoption for fiscal years 2020-21 and 2021-22.

The most recent meeting Engage Morgan Hill Community Advisory Group (CAG) was held
this past Saturday, October 26, on the topic of Housing/Growth/Impacts of SB 330. It was a thorough presentation with excellent conversation following. Additionally, the results of the recent polling were discussed with the group.

The Morgan Hill Freedom Fest is proud to host the Veterans Day 5k and 10k run to honor the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. armed forces. Start and finish line is at the middle of East 1st Street.

Bib & T-shirt pick up at The Granary, Saturday, November 9, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., or the day of the run before the start time.

KnowAVET's Convoy of Hope promises to be the biggest Veterans resource fair-style event in Silicon Valley.

Registration to attend as a guest is also FREE, but please RSVP online to visit the Veteran's tent, and stay informed of last minute changes, or find out helpful tips about attendance. Current Watering Schedule
Water is always a precious resource in Morgan Hill and with this in mind, our permanent watering restrictions have been designed to best manage the City's potable water supply. These restrictions will help us avoid or minimize the effects of drought, climate change and the unreliability of the imported water infrastructure that serves the City of Morgan Hill.

Complete rules and restrictions can be found in  Water Waste Ordinance No. 2236 .
