The deadline to be included in the summer Downtown Marquette Newsletter is fast approaching. If you have something new or interesting to tell everyone about your business, send an article our way! Simply share your news with us in an article (300 words or less, third person narrative, please) and email it to Tara@downtownmarquette.org by Monday, June 10. Microsoft Word files are prefered. You may also submit a captioned high quality photo. The publication date is June 20, and will be out in time for events like Art Week and Fourth of July. Prior editions of the supplement are available at the DDA office, if you'd like to see a sample publication. 

  Remember, inclusion in the newsletter is available to all retail, restaurants, non-profits, and professional businesses located within the Downtown District. When composing your article, consider such questions as:

•  Have you recently opened or moved your business? 
•  Have you undertaken a renovation and/or made  improvements?  
•  Do you have a special activity or event you'd like to  promote to the community?
•  Have you or your employees recently received any  awards or certifications?
•  Are you open late or have you expanded your hours  for the summer?
•  Do you feature a new unique product or service?
•  Do you have any other news you'd like to share?

      There is no cost to participate in this newsletter; however, please keep in mind that advertising dollars make the supplement possible and those who place ads will receive priority should space become limited.

     The supplement is circulated to all Mining Journal customers, with 1,000 additional copies distributed to surrounding areas and high-traffic locations.
