REMINDERS
  • NO SCHOOL Fri., Oct. 25 due to parent-teacher conferences.
  • Blue Crew students are collecting donations for the Little Free Pantry, and tomorrow is the last day! Students can bring food items and paper goods for donations. Advisory teachers have a list of suggested items.
  • Would you like to help serve as a leader for FCA this year? Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be starting up next month, and we are looking for a few students that are willing and ready to help serve in a variety of ways. If interested, please pick up a packet from the front office or see Mr. Pond in E8. Applications are due by next Wed., Oct. 30.
  • The Woodland Library will hold a Scholastic Book Fair Tues., Oct. 21-24 from 7:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m. It will also be open to families Oct. 22 from 3:45-6:45 p.m. 
  • What are your plans for Fri., Oct. 25? How about starting your morning with a sweet treat from Rick's Bakery and then heading to Ozark Bowling Lanes for some bowling? PTO has arranged for a combo spirit event so mention you are with Woodland and we will get a portion of the sales. Remember, there is no school that day due to parent-teacher conferences.
  • Due to Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tues., Oct. 22, Math Club has been rescheduled for Tues., Oct. 29.
  • Girls on the Run will NOT meet Tues., Oct. 22 due to Parent-Teacher Conferences.
  • Camp War Eagle applications for summer 2020 are now available. The priority deadline to apply is Dec. 15. The earlier you submit your application, the better your chances of getting a slot. Applications in English and Spanish are available in the guidance office or online at campwareagle.org.
  • The Fayetteville Public Schools Cadet Winter Guard will kick off our 2020 season with a tryout clinic on Oct. 30 at FHS. The Cadet Guard is open to ANY student, grades 6-9 enrolled in a Fayetteville PSD Campus. No experience necessary.   • Mark your calendar for the Monster Mash Orchestra Concert scheduled for Wed., Oct. 30 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the FHS Performing Arts Center! This is a fun concert for kids and adults, and audience members can come in costume and trick or treat at the end of the concert!
Fall Weather is for Food Truck Tours!
Throughout October, The Purple Dog Food Truck will make stops at secondary schools serving up Street-style Tacos to students, staff, and parents! The food truck will head to Woodland Thurs., Oct. 24. Check out the menu below. Pick your fillings and toppings and enjoy your meal outdoors (weather permitting). These are rain or shine events!
